Perched in the emerald cradle of Hoang Su Phi valley, Panhou Retreat is a calm haven where the towering peaks of Ha Giang embrace rustic elegance. This 5-star ecolodge, born from a Dao-inspired design ethos and born in 2008 (relaunched 2022), strikes a quiet balance between cultural authenticity and luxury immersion. With just 22 bungalows and a single villa - a deliberate nod to exclusivity - the property snakes alongside a cool mountain stream amid terraced fields and lush gardens, enveloping guests in panoramic serenity.

The rooms range from 12 Superior Window bungalows (30 m²) to 7 Deluxe Balcony bungalows (35 m²) and 3 Suites (70 m²), each opened to the landscape via full-length windows or private balconies. Interiors are intentionally minimal - treasure the warmth of recycled timber, bamboo, and stone assembled by local hands, keeping technology discreet to foster mindfulness.

Cuisine is a celebration of regionally sourced flavors: Su Phì Restaurant offers an Asian buffet experience for 80 guests, while Michel Restaurant caters to intimate European dinners (up to 25 guests), and the intimate Thông Nguyên Bar sets the stage for fireside drinks and sunset reflection. Wellness is anchored at the Herbal Healing Center, where Dao-rooted herbal baths and massages, alongside riverside yoga and tea meditation, offer deeply restorative rituals in nature’s embrace.

This retreat is also a gateway to high-altitude cultural immersion - guests can trek into Dao villages, join cooking workshops or bike through terraced landscapes, guided by locals who share centuries of hill-tribe lore.
